Day one. This is the day I received mytank back off a relative who couldn't cope any longer. It was truely a horrific move as it was in haste with very little planning at all.
The result of he move killed three fish to Velvet.

But I think you'll agree, its come on a treat in a short time.

The first image is on 10th September.
The second one is a couple of weeks ago?! I got rid of some of the plants and went for a three plant theme instead.

No, it is indeed the same tank.
I have a couple of pleco photo's that I'll add shortly.
Actually, I took the big plec to Maidenhead Aquatics toda. because of the damage it was doing to the other plec

Thanks for the compliments guys

This gives an idea of how the tank is situated.
The cabinets beneath are to be homes for my two male bearded dragons. One is in its new home now. Later today I'll takea picture to post. The cabinet is made of MDF and has a softwood frame.

... And another angle5-9-07I think it is important to gain trust wih the fish. What better way than to feed them by hand. My wife is the willing feeder in this image.

Tank looks great!
How do the plants hold-up with the bigger plecs? I find that as they get bigger they knock and (accidentaly) uproot plants as they scatter on the bottom, then again doesnt look like you have that problem :good:

Drew

Well, Poopsydrew, I have kept the most peaceful pleco, the sailfin. Its the shorter one of the two at around 10 inches long. The other has gone now. The plants don't seem to be a problem. I didn't give that any thought before I bought them either. Perhaps the fish even likes the feel of the soft plants against its skin? The gourami seem to enjoy it.

Thanks for the compliments :good:
