Single Gourami Discovered Dead: Avoidable? Or Just Bad Luck?

Update: The bubble is persistent: I haven't seen any change in it at all since my last post. Little fishy has been back with her companions for a while and is eating/swimming/interacting very well. I'm unsure what to think at this point, other than being happy that she appears to be doing well.

If her health declines or the bubble progresses/shrinks substantially, I'll repost to this thread so others with a similar issue may benefit.

Otherwise, I'll consider this resolved and wish everyone the best of luck.
