Hi,
I have been noticing my Silvertip Tetras spawning in my tank for a long while now and have finally got a heater spare so I can set up a breeding tank where the fry and eggs are not at risk of being eaten by my other fish - or their parents. My tank is 18"x12"x12" and 42L or 9 Gallons, probably more around 35L though. I have silver sand as substrate I can add marbles, spawning mop and will buy anything needed to breed my fish. I plan on buying some bunched hornwort as plant matter. I don't yet know how to breed these fish and how to set up the aquarium (with the stuff I have) to enable a good chance of fry development and low mortality rate - if the spawning actually occurs.

Any ideas, tips and trick are appreciated.

Thank you,
AmazonFTW

EDIT: I drew a picture but it didn't work so I got rid of it :(.
