My silver tip tetra has a curved back he is behaving like normal though. No other symptoms of NTD he is swimming in the middle of the tank with the other silver tips. I have had him for 2 years could it be old age? No new fish in the tank since I got his compadres shortly after him. Water quality has low ph but other than that its fine. Im doing a water change now though just in case. Please help

Hi. Could you post a few pics?
What size tank? Was it cycled?
How long have you had the fish?
You say your water quality was good, could we have the exact levels?

pictures of the fish?

Old age can cause a slight curvature of the spine. Major curves can be from a tumour, cysts or TB.

My tank is a 15 gallon the water is foggy because I just did a water change and my paramiters are nitrite 0 ammonia 0 ph somewhere between 6.0 and 6.5 nitrate 20

Sorry for the poor photo quality

How long ago did the curve start appearing? Did it come on suddenly?

I started to notice it yesterday but it has gotten a little worse since then

Update: his back is bending donwards and he is no longer coming up for food but he is still eating the food that drifts down i have removed him from the tank and am medicating it with broad range antibiotics
