I have 2 Silver Dollars in a fairly well planted aquarium, and they enjoy snacking on my Cabombas durring the day. I have tried putting cucumber, zuchini, and apple in a veggie clip near the corner where they hang out, but they wont touch it.

Is there any veggie or fruit that Silver Dollars like (besides Cabombas) that may curb there mid-day munchies?

Nope. Unless they're constantly sidetracked with some veggies which you put in the tank (which is unlikely), they'll munch on most plants. Mine really enjoy bog-standard round lettuce, but I doubt it would keep them from the plants. Silver dollars really aren't suited to planted tanks.. if you want to keep it planted, that is..

On another note, you'll need to get more friends for them as silver dollars are shoaling fish which need to be in groups of at least 5-6 and need a lot of swimming room. With just 2, they'll most likely become very timid and reclusive and they can really hurt themselves when they get scared and start going nuts around the tank.
