You must have plenty of spare plants to conduct your experiments with, i was keen on getting some SD but what you guys say theres no chance now, i like my plants to much

I have 2 Silver Dollars in with my balas, tiger bars, and clown loaches. All of mine get along great. I plan to move my silver dollars and balas into a 55g tank within the next few weeks though and add a few more of each. They pretty much eat anything, but mine seem to like flakes and shrimp pellets.

You better watch it. Balas need 100G+ and SDs alone can take up a 55g tank alone when full grown
