Silver Colored Fish Types?

I want a bala shark but know i dont have a big enough aquarium and the fish i already have in there would eventually become food, but i really like the silver coloring of the bala sharks can anyone recommend similar looking fish that one eat or harrass my guppies and platys. ( i have a 40 gal)

Diamond tetras? They are Very peaceful and come in beautiful colors. The male longer,leaner silverly and has bluish rainbow color in it, the female is more rounder, full bodied and it's really shines like diamond!

Have you considered the Lamp Eye Tetras?  They have a very similar silver body.

Lots of tetras have silver coloring, even the common Neon Tetra has some.  I'd recommend the ones listed above.
