Silly Question But I Need Re-assurance!

OK, this may sound silly but I need to double check before I do it! Goldfish will not fight each other will they? I have 3 Small Fantails in 1 tank and 2 HUGE MASSIVE BIG Fantails in another, I want to put them together - they won't fight will they??

like all things in life nothing is gaurenteed.
some goldfish can become very territorial and aggressive as they get older,
on the whole they do ok with each other.
as long as you are not combining egg shaped goldfish with slim bodied goldfish
then I see no seriouse problems

How big a tank are you thinking of putting them in?
I agree with the wolf and would say not to mix them as the smaller single tailed fish will probably eat the flowing fins.

The tank is 65 UK Gallons

All 5 are the same type of Goldie's, fantails, with beautiful, flowing fins. The two bigger goldfish have lived in the tank for a long time so they may get aggressive towards the smaller goldies... all I can do is try and it and see the outcome. I have a spare tank on standby just in case

You may be pushing it for space.

How big is the small tank and how long have you had the smaller fish?
