There are always ones that don't grow as big naturally (proving they were in condtions allwoing for growth), but this is not something you will know until they are adults.
I don't know if this is what Cheese meant and already said < so sorry Cheese if I'm stepping on your toes....
Some Angels don't get as big, tall, because of shorter fins! My two that just spawned are of the shorter finned variety, and the one I have in my 29 is of the longer finned variety............I don'g get it But there you have it!
I guess some angels just don't grow as quickly as others . We have 10 veiled angels that we bought at the same time (in January) in the same store and they were all the same size (bodies were dime size). We have two of each: blushing, black, marbled, zebra, and silver. The blushings are now the biggest (bodies about silver dollar size) and the two silvers are still only nickle size. The others sizes are mixed in between.
thanks for the info! I always see the little baby angels and think they are just soooo cute !! the big ones always look grumpy (no offense to all you angel lovers out there ) and my rule for fish in my tank is they have to be cute!!!! well I was just wondering and now I have my answer. thank a bunch.
