Sick Ram

My Male gold ram is sick

Ive had him for about 6 months, about 2 weeks ago i noticed a white patch on teh side of his body just under his dorsal fin, not like a fungus patch or anything it just looks like the colour has bleached out in a 3mm circle.

He's still eating although not a great appetite and still spawning with my female but now he seems really thin and a completely washed out colour, i was hoping it would get better by doing regilar water changes etc but now its obvious he needs proper treatment but im not sure what is wrong or how to treat.


Any help would be apreciated

Weird that just happened with 2 of my gold rams, looked like they starved to death but yet they would try to eat but just spit the food out(even frozen blood worms!). I'm guessing its definitely something internal like a parasite. The remaining gold ram female is doing fine and is very plump. I too tried water changes but nothing worked. I hope yours survive.

I think its internal parsites too, so whats the best medication to i use in the UK?
