My GSP is doing well but it's body seems to be crooked. If you look at it from above it seems like it's tail is always bent. It is not like when puffers curve their tail, it is more like it is broken or something. What is wrong with my puffer?

This is the shape of my Puffer from above:

********
***********
-------------*****
Body -----Tail

Look at the stars, ignore the dashes, I used those as placeholders.

Something I found while googling... Did you purchase it crooked already?

Twisted spines

Sometimes fish can be seen to have bent backs, a twisted or bent spine causes this.

Fish fry often develop in this way due to internal parasites or genetic defects, in adult fish the likely cause is exposure to electricity either from an electrical fault causing a shock or following a thunderstorm. Sometimes the twist in the spine is not easily visible, but the inability of the affected fish to swim properly is noticeable. There is no practical cure and the fish is probably in great pain so putting it out of its misery is the kindest option.

Another thing is. could be a Vitamin deficiency. I'm just guessing it could be Vit D, since that is what i supplement my frogs with to prevent bone deformation.

I know very little of puffers, admitedly. Though I had a neighbor who's SW tank I admired often. He had (I believe still "has") a Dogface Puffer who's tail was "broken". He swam kind of sideways, but otherwise seemed very happy and healthy. I lived there for 4 years and he was still going strong when I moved away!
