Hey guys I really need some help, I have been unsuccessfully searching the internet for answers!
Tank size: 29 gal
pH: 7.6
ammonia: 0 ppm
tank temp: 80 degrees F
I have three balloon belly mollies, one is a sail fin and another is a lyre tail. The last one is just a balloon belly. I just bought all three of them five days ago.
All of the fish are eating and swimming normally. All three of the like to stick together and swim around the tank with each other. But the problem with my lyre tail balloon belly molly is that around her eyes and mouth her scales look crusty or dry. They are a pale white color, it was a little difficult to spot at first because she has such light coloring, but over the past few days it has gotten more noticeable. At first i thought she may just be older and fading, but i think it is more than that. I would really like to know how to go about treating this. I do not want it to spread to the other fish. Any ideas would be appreciated.
