My betta had faded in colour and its fins are retarded atm, and he sinks to the bottom. what is wrong with him and what can i do to help.

It sounds like he's stressed and has finrot. What tank have you got him in and what are the water stats?

He is in a fairly small fish tank and the water temperature is 27 degrees. i lowered the water level so he doesnt need to move as much to get air.

When mine had finrot, I treated him with Melafix. Only use half the recommended dose as they are quite sensitive.

Raise the temp to 28 maybe and keep his water super clean, if it is fin rot the melafix might help, a pic might help double check

Do his fins look like they're rotting away at the edges? Are there random gagged chunks missing but no brownish coloring on the edges? or is his tail like shredded in strips? Each means something different
