I've had my 150g tank for about 2 years now and do regular water changes about once a week, and this is the first fish that I have had sick in this tank. Did a 50% water change yesterday and all levels are normal ph at 7.0 and even got the rare chance of seeing my jack Dempsey's lay eggs about 2hrs after
the water change. I do not feed feeder fish, and use nutrafin floating pellets and what ever worms or bugs the kids come across. As for my green terror it's been about 8 days in a quarantine tank now and have been treating with maracyn for popeye and body fungus c/w melafix I also have salt in the water and do 25% water changes daily, no carbon filtration just air stones and has shown no signs of improvement yet! [one eye completely covered over with white fuzzy stuff] I just picked up some more penicillin so as long as this fish keeps fighting so will I.
