I love Cardinal tetras. I have a 220 gallon tank with about 500 cardinals. Several of them have a white growing lesion on their body. I have used clout. No improvement. They eat well. Oh 6.2. Temperature 79. Ammonia 0. Here is a link to a picture https://goo.gl/photos/yTkiLFNg9yJ929Vr5
Suggestions?
Thank you in advance!

What's clout exactly ?

ingredients:  Ingredients:
4-[p-(dimethylamino)-)O-phenylbenzylidene]-2,5-cyclohexadien-1-xylidene dimethyl ammonium chloride; dimethyl (2,2,2-trichloro-1-hy-droxy-ethel) phosphate; 1,2-dimethyl-5-nitromidazole and inert ingredients as nontoxic binders.

Lately cardinals (and neons) often show growths. Cause those don't seem treatable but aren't quite lethal as well my thoughts go to a viral issue.
I know there are a lot of species specific (irido)viruses like the one that cause lymphocystis.
The growth in the pic is on a strange place though !!!
Sorry I can't be of any more help.
