I got a veiltail betta from petsmart about two weeks ago. One of his eyes looks bloated and cloudy. He hasn't been eating that much. I think he has popeye. Any good meds? :/

melafix will work pretty good, or bettafix, their the same thing, juts use melafix in small doses, and salt will also help

Hi Hsieyun,

"...outward signs, such as a swollen or dropsical condition, in which the abdomen enlarges, or popped eyes, are not illnesses in themselves. They are symptoms of internal trouble" - Gene Wolfsheimer (author of The Guide to Owning Bettas)

Do isolate the fish, keep the water clean and treat it promptly. If you have other fish in the same tank, watch for similar symptoms because this condition is likely to be of bacterial origin.

Medications for the treatment of such conditions include Interpet® Aquarium Treatment No. 9 - Anti Internal Bacteria, Ocean Free® Super Internal Bacteria & Ulcer Away, Myxazin®, as well as MelaFix®.

May your betta get well soon.

Edited: Links to medications.
