Sick Betta ?

I can't seem to figure out what's wrong with my betta. He's not showing any signs that I recognize. He's laying on the bottom, lost a little bit of color and labored breathing, but he's eating fine, pops up for air fine, so I am just not sure. Any advice? He's in a cycled tank and the water parameters are right where they should be. I cleaned the tank and did a 25% water change 2 days ago. The only thing I noticed is that he seemed to get bad after eating some frozen bloodworms (2 days ago). I don't know if it's a coincidence or not.

Hmm...I'd try fasting him for the next day or two, and see if that helps. Could be constipated. A pea would be good, too.

They are a product called betta max that does wonders for bettas. I would try that if you get it.

I wonder if she means BettaFix. I think you're probably familiar with that product and know not to use it lightly. It can stress him out and using too much can have bad effects, neither are worth the risk if it's not necessary. I'd give him a little more time before using meds. Keep us up to date.
