Siamese fighting fish

My girlfriend has taken a real shine to the Siamese fighting fish (becos it looks good!) Before I give in and buy one, has anyone else got one and are they any trouble in your tank? I've currently got 1 dalmation molly, 4 black widows, 4 other tetras 2 cory catfish and a CAE.

lots of people have them here...look on the Bettas and Gourami's forum for ideas and questions!

They are great little fish with tonnes of character, both of mine dislike the husstle and bustle of a community tank, so I keep then in tanks on their own, but some people here successfully keep them in community tanks!
