A lot of fish stores don't really know diddly doo about Bettas, it seems, because I go in to a new one, acting like a know-nothing newbie and they give me allll the wrong info, I then pull off the mask and kinda inform them of the things they're doing wrong, saying wrongly. Now unfortunatly I don't know a whole lot about the other kinds of fish.. I'm slowly learning and nothing can aid learning like experience, especialy one like you have experienced here.

I'd get the poor betta in his own space -- at least until the situation is calmed.

Yea, I'm sure he'll be much happier in something where he doesn't have any companions.
