Siamese Algae Eaters problem

Hello guys. I have had 3 Siamese algae eaters in my Fluval 125 for 18 months and they have been doing really well. They get on together and are very sociable. I’ve just noticed some white patch marks. One of them has it on his head and the other on his body. I’ve not seen this before. Please can you advise. So far been really lucky and have had no problems with any of my fish. No fish have been added into the tank for 18 months. The only additions have been assassin snails 2 months ago.

They have grown up, maybe there is a cave that is now to small for them, maybe they are knocking them selves when trying to get behind the filter. Bumps and bruises happen just watch them carefully if they get worse get back in touch

it just looks like a couple of scales that are missing. monitor them and if it gets worse, post some more pictures.

if you want to do anything for them, do a 75% water change and gravel clean the substrate. Make sure the new water is free of chlorine/ chloramine before it's added to the tank.

that’s great many thanks for your help. I tell you what as well they have grown so much over the 18 months I’ve had them for. What you are saying definitely makes sense and I will keep an eye on them and report back.

I'm no help I'm afraid, and Colin and itiwhet have covered it anyway, I just wanted to ask what your other cories are, besides the bronze cories? They look lovely! Please share tank photos and more pics of those cories!
