A member of a local classified was shutting down his tank and was giving away 3 SAEs and 2 Doctor fish for free. I picked them up and I must say they are a lot of fun to watch, they are pretty aggressive with their "tail whips" which I love because it throws food and droppings off the sand.
Just had 2 questions:

1) I was planning on buying 50 tetras for the tank this week, due to their somewhat aggressive speed and movement, would that stress out the Tetras? It's a 60 Gallon, 48" wide tank.

2) Also I was convinced the 3 were true SAEs, their rugged black line extending to their tails, the 1 set of barbells, until I read about the Crossocheilus atrilimes. Does this particular fish still eat and clean like the SAE or not as good? There was mixed information online.

Thank you.

would not recommend these fish with ANY community type fish, they become bullys and pests, kind of like red tail sharks

Oh really, wow did not see any bad reviews online, I'm assuming you're referring to the Doctor Fish?
Will have to certainly monitor their behaviour, I can definitely see from their movements now how they could become a pest/bully.

Good to know! Thank you
