A member of a local classified was shutting down his tank and was giving away 3 SAEs and 2 Doctor fish for free. I picked them up and I must say they are a lot of fun to watch, they are pretty aggressive with their "tail whips" which I love because it throws food and droppings off the sand.
Just had 2 questions:
1) I was planning on buying 50 tetras for the tank this week, due to their somewhat aggressive speed and movement, would that stress out the Tetras? It's a 60 Gallon, 48" wide tank.
2) Also I was convinced the 3 were true SAEs, their rugged black line extending to their tails, the 1 set of barbells, until I read about the Crossocheilus atrilimes. Does this particular fish still eat and clean like the SAE or not as good? There was mixed information online.
Thank you.
