Quick update of my Shrimpy Setup. The Sparkling Gourami's are getting on well with my Shrimps, especially now i have added some more cover and a few more plants.

Westwood, assuming you mean the Shrimp? When they have upped their numbers a little some will be for sale for sure.

Jon, the Pogostemon is going ok, can't decide if it is going good enough though... Some leaves look a little ropey.

Mike, the wood looks fantastic in this tank. It is the offending piece of wood that was leaching an oily substance into the water in the Puffer tank. No real effect in this tank, and the Shrimp have cleaned it up nicely. They loved the white fungus type fluff that was all over it.

Thanks Jack. The Helferi does LOOK good here, but seems a little ill in real life. Little bits keep floating off every now and then. unsure if that is supposed to happen though? Hard to explain. It's very green though.

Looks good to me, when I used to keep it I'd frequently be picking stray leaves out, with it being a rigid plant I've found that its leaves can be quite brittle and break easily.

Arh right, thanks. That's a little reasuring. Not really doing anything fancy to keep it, just a very old T8 plant-gro bulb and some EI fert.

Thanks. The 3d background has changed this immensely. Very good addition, especially to a small tank as it's cheap to do.
