Shrimp In 10 Gallon?

You can add a few shrimps in there, maybe Red Cherry Shrimps or a amano or two at most. These are pretty much the hardiest shrimps around, so they're more forgiving than most.
However, its always best to have the tank running for a few months least before adding shrimps, to ensure tank is established a little bit.
As a side note, guppies do better in groups of 3 at least, spreads aggression, so I'd add one more guppy.

Yes, you can keep shrimp. You can expect your tetras (glofish) to try and eat them though and certainly to eat the young if they breed. If keeping cherry shrimp a 10 gallon is large enough for quite a few shrimp.
I agree with the concept of waiting until the tank is mature. Inverts like shrimp are more sensitive than fish and require a mature and stable tank to survive.

thank you for the suggestions=) the tank has cycled and has good numbers. and i have noticed the orange guppy bugs the yellow guppy alot. but thankfully less now i put the plants in for some hiding spots
When I talk about a "mature" tank I mean one that is at least six months old and better if it's a year. This gives the tank time to develop it's own micro ecosystem of bacteria, infauna, and algae.
Dont the green cory and glofish need to be rehomed because the tank is to small? As well they need proper schooling numbers which would over stock the tank, so i would suggest rehoming those and getting more guppies and some cherry shrimp later on with some live plants.
ah ok yeah, the tank was started it Febuary, so its not that old yet. and i did not know that about glofish. when i got these fish the yellow guppy destroyed my pink glofish's back fin

Having algae when a tank is a couple to few months old is normal. I call that period of time in a tank's life "the uglies". Normally this evens out on it's own. This is one reason there's a difference between a cycled tank and a mature tank. A mature tank will have gone through the uglies and formed a balanced system.
ok good. i thought there was something seriously wrong with my tank for a bit there. i had a white fuzzy film on alot of things then i had brown algae. im a bit of a noob to all of this. original got this tank for my daughter and found out soon after it was a bit more work think a goldfish u win at a Carnaval lol

Yes, it is fairly common for new tank setups to get that fine white film, thats signs of tank getting cycled, and bacteria you need getting settled.
Also, as Tcamos mentions, algae in new tanks are fairly common as well, so just keep an eye on the algae and don't add any algae removing chemicals or anything like that, let the tank balance itself and hopefully will go away (fingers crossed)
And yes, winning that goldfish at carnivals is a recipe for disaster usually and a big old learning curve for most!

So much happens to a tank that people don't really expect and stores will often tell people only part of the story so they are expecting to stock it with fish the night they buy it.
