Hi All, Im looking at getting a fluval edge tank next month to start cycling. Im just looking for some inspiration on what look to go for. So I thought it would be a good idea to start a topic where people can post their fluval edge pics with a little description on stocking and decor. Marine and tropical welcome, as I am STILL undecided what to go for.
Thanks in advance :D

The 2nd pic is with blue LEDs however we have installed a multi colour LED system with an option of 9 different colours, amazing tanks believe me however species are limited so beware!

The Fluval Edge is rather small and if you are planning on getting hooked to aquatics you're going to want something much bigger very soon. Why not start off a little bigger, what about the Fluval Roma 90?

+1, also the Edge restricts which fish you can have because of the very low surface area..

Thanks for the advice. I am only looking to keep a few small fish, as I dont have a lot of space. I would possibly be looking at neon tetras, guppies, shrimps and a bottom feeder, with a few plants for decor. Would these be ok in that tank? Im more swayed to this tank as it has good reviews and looks stylish. I know the style should not be taken into account as the fish come first. But I would like a tank that isnt the normal

Guppies and shrimps no problem. Neons I think you will probably not get the go ahead on here but I do uave cardinals on mine... its just all about maturing your filter media if you ask me, then its all about keeping check of your water till the levels are consistent and weekly or fortnightly at a push water changes.

Bump.... There must be more people with these tanks out there :D

Check the 'Your New Freshwater Tank' sub-forum... I seem to remember there being a bit of a boom in Fluval Edge purchases around Christmas time?

Think Maidenhead Aquatics had a deal on, so that might go some way to explaining it.

Ben.
