I have 2 cube tanks I'm hoping to rescape soon, I've been told cubes are the hardest to work with, and it really is proving to be hard. I'm looking for inspiration! Anything would be appreciated

I have a 60L Cube recently changed out the play sand for JBL Manado

Nice! Is that the one from the recent TOTM? What plants did you use?
Yup!

Plant List - I also have C02 running as well

Rotala rotundifolia H'ra
Rotala Indica
Ludwigia Super red
Hygrophila pinnatifida
Hygrophila corymbosa compact
Myriophyllum mattogrossense
Cryptocoryne undulatus
Staurogyne repens
Bolbitis heudelotii
Bucephalandra Biblis
Limnobium laevigatum
Microsorum pteropus Trident
Anubias Petite
Cryptocoryne parva
Monstera 'monkey leaf'

Most of those plants can't even be seen 😂

Ohh! I can only count 8 species 😆, I just read your TOTM entry, how's your DIY CO2 going? Do you not have a checker thing? I've heard those things can be REALLY unreliable. Where's your diffuser too? Sorry for all the questions, I've also been meaning to try it out for a while😅

My DIY bottle has pretty much run out now will be putting in a new one on Tuesday. I have a Fluval 3in1 Diffuser.

There is no way I can regulate it at all. However, I usually pull the internal filter up a bit so there's more water movement which helps disperse it better. The diffuser is behind all the stem plants and next to the heater.

Ohh, great job at hiding it! I really didn't expect it to be hightech, I was wondering how you were able to keep all those rotalas like that. Been struggling with them

Yes mine's taller so more cuboid than actual cube! It's nice when water changes only take 5 minutes in something this size lol.
That's part of why I prefer smaller tanks, it's so damn tiring to do a waterchange in a 4th tank! I can only imagine what it would be like for those with 100 gallon tanks.

Just popping in to show a picture of my 3 gallon shrimp tank, home to 9 female tiger shrimp (wish I had a male), and 4 ramshorn snails. It’s weird as the filter box is clear like glass, so you can see the ceramic and filter floss if you look. I try to block the filter with that bolbitis and I usually cover the top of the filter to block the strong light otherwise algae tends to grow on the filter floss. That little HOB has a foam Prefilter which came with this little kit (the light was included too). I added a nano sponge filter as I plan to use that when making an attempt at breeding neons this summer. Anyhow, this little tank of mine will change in appearance the longer I have it, just as my other shrimp tank did. You will find what you like and what works for the fish you keep and unless trying to break up territories or something. Take a picture once a year and trade with other local hobbyists if you end up with too many plants or hard scape.

I am almost embarrassed to show my cube, as it is nearly nowhere near as nice as the others. It is a 40x40x40 cm cube with an ikea lamp that is mostly turned off and just lives out of the window light. Thus the low demand plants

Those are some nice tanks! What type of anubias is that?
3 Gallons, Betta and bladder snails...

I like how simple this is, That's just a single Java fern pad right? Those are easily accessible here
