All of my fry are in the breeding/fry netting holding thingy...well all but three that i didnt catch...and those three havent been chased by any of the fish in the tank, now theyve been sniffed (if fish do that) ya know checked out to see if they were okay dudes or dudettes right after birth by the other fish (see what fish i have in the tank in my siggy) they stay mostly at the top of the tank and just hang out there kinda close to the netting thing, guess chatting with their sisters and brothers...anyway what im getting at is...i know they are all so tiny and was thinking if i let them loose in the tank the other fish would be in buffet heaven...or would they just ignore them like the others...i know they KNOW they are there, they arent blind lol...at what point would it be safe to let them out of the netting? Maybe all my fish are just peaceful, loving, getting along with everyone fish, but would they start munching if they saw 30 new swimming specks all over the place?!?! I dunno...was just wondering...

i tend to put mine in the main tank when they are big enough not to fit into the biggest fishes mouth arount the size of a small neon if that helps

Plus you won't be able to sex them until they are much larger, well past the point of being eaten. That is the struggle with livebearers and trying to get them to stop mating.
