Should I Keep Him Or Not?

Hope this Picture works! This is my Male Betta Plackat (bright blue eyes) he has gorgeous bright red ventrals and a great blue sheen to his body. I also really like the edging to his tail he has no nips or scrapes! I did originally buy him from an excellent stock (when he was younger about a month ago) with a few half moon females....see where this is going! I thought he was a she! now he has matured he is beautiful but I cant work out if I should keep him! I was planning to buy a half moon male but now dont have the room. He is in tip top condition and readily displays to the females next door. I could buy him another tank but a part of me thinks he would be a lovely breeding male for someone! - the thing is I wouldnt breed him as Id rather breed half moons....

so what do you think, shall I keep him or not?

I love plakats! But if you want a halfmoon, then you want a halfmoon. Just be sure to find him a good home.

It's not always about breeding them. You can just keep him and give him a good home. It's all about enjoyment anyways. I wouldn't want to give that guy up. ... my thoughts anyways

Keep him if you have the money to get him his own tank. He doesn't have to be bred, just keep him as a pet

I got a betta nano tank for him today if I keep him in my room he will be warm enough without a heater and I have a spare air pump. A guy I know offered to buy him but was planning on keeping him in basically a small vase barely bigger than a tumbler. Thank you for your comments Im glad you all like him he is traditionally coloured but he's exceptionally bright. I live in Oxford if anyone is fond of the feisty little chap!
