Hi

If you are looking for a Malawi set up then this one is a tad on the small size. A four footer (200ltr upward) being the minimum really.

As far as this tank is concerned I would be more interested in which filter/heater model and how old. The starting bid is high enough in my opinion and I think the buy it now price is a bit optimistic. If you do wish to go for it why not message the seller and say you are willing to go to the first price (as you have other tanks to consider)and see what happens.

Do bear in mind though what I mentioned earlier.

As doresy said, I think there are too many vague issues (fish, heater, filter) with that auction plus the intial bid is rather high in light of this, not to mention the seller effectively is giving bidders a single day to view the setup before the auction ends.

There are far better deal to be had on Ebay and alike, just buying a tank with a cabinet. When you can get a new 300W Rena Smart Heater for just over £22 and http://www.allpondsolutions.co.uk/ currently have a valid 20% discount code "JAN-SALE" (so you could get a 2000EF, or even two like me, for £60 each), I'd prefer the extra piece of mind by getting new equipment and then choosing the fish stocking that you really want.

thanks for the help guys, found out it didnt come with the stand either so i wont be buying

can get better, my mate got same sorta size tank as that, with the cabinet and all the gubbins, 5 months old was PRISTINE 100 quid. My 4 foot tank with cabinet/everything cost me 200. Wait till your sure its good mate id bug the person for a buy out aswell. What we both did.
