Should I Be Frothing This Much?

Added pimafix+ melaix this morning to two of my tanks, for internal bacterial infection.

All fish are still looking happy this evening, but the smell of menthol is enough to sort out the whole family's colds (we're just going to sleep in the fish room tonight), and the surface on one tank looks filmy and frothy, on the other just filmy. I have not done anything else odd, I did condition the water when I did a pre-medicationwater change, I don't think I overdosed the meds.

If I have read the instructions right, I've got to keep adding this stuff every day for 7 days, and only then do a water change- how soapy is their water going to get?

Just reassure me someone that this is alright, and I shall sleep easy (not to mention breathe easy, with all that menthol next to my bed).

Have you increased aeration as it will go frothy looking, melafix is good for external infection but not internal.

Thanks Wilder. I have got an airstone in there. Perhaps I could cut down on the Melafix, I only added that as a general aid to recovery.
