willtang3000 makes a good point, even if you spend oh say 30.00 on a fish, if they breed several times, you would make more then you spent on them.

If William from Siamct is stocking them- then odds are he will send some to us next month so you *might* be able to get a better deal at the auction, provided there are enough pairs to go around of course

I asked Bryan at BetterBetta/BlueBettaUSA, and he said he can't give a price for 4-6 weeks. That is when the wild types start arriving. I'd put my money aside and go comparison shopping the end of October.

Oooooh the temptation. I think I'm going to give in. My mother has access to my checking account and I know she'd be furious if she found out I spent that much money on fish, even if it is my own money... BUT, thanks to you lovely people taking my juvies, I've got enough to cover the fish and the cost of shipping sitting right there in my Paypal account. Money mother doesn't even know exists
I'm going to go with a trio, if I can. I doubt I'd be able to get a better price at the betta show, considering that's live auction and I'd probably have to fight for them, so I'll just order them online (BTW Wuv, I need to PM you about the show ) I figure I'm going to have to shell out at least $80 no matter where I get them, so what's an extra $10 or so when I'm already spending that much . I'll email Siamcrowntail about it tonight and see what kind of a deal I can get. God, I'm so addicted and horrible!

What you should do is slowly slip your money into your paypal account so she dosent notice....lol Besides, when you tell her your going to breed and sell on, she will realise how much money you will make!

You could also do the maths price of bettas and cost to sell the babies ( Think peeps on here would be willing to fund the idea). at the end would be $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ tons of money then your folks will set up a betta buisness and be gazzilionaires

Oh my gosh, My friend and I have been drooling over those bettas. You MUST, and I repeat, MUST get some!! Definately a present to yourself after all the work involved with the fishy babies that are getting shipped soon.

Synirr, being bad is a relative term, think of it more as being "naughty"
