"No one is a failure unless you try"
I've been wanting Betta albimarginata forever, and recently they have been popping up more and more on Aquabid... the problem is they're always like $90-$100 a pair, not including shipping. However, I recently started working for my parents (they own a sheet metal/plumbing/air conditioning & heating company... it's literally just about the only job I could find in this town that didn't involve flipping burgers), and while I don't get to work very many hours per week, I still have a little more money than usual lying around... So I was thinking maybe I could treat myself to some expensive fishies
Should I? If I were to buy them I would definitely be breeding. I emailed a seller on Aquabid who has tank-raised fish and he said it's not that difficult at all, but the males tend to swallow the eggs the first couple of times. If I move my dwarf gourami to my 29 gallon they could have my well established 10 gallon, and I've got plenty of IAL extract for them... Ugh, I'm so conflicted!
