I leaving on a 4-day trip to Zions National Park (one of the most beautiful places in the world) tomorrow. I'm wondering what the best way to feed the fish in my absence will be. What do you guys do?

I wouldn't feed them at all. I would just feed them as normal before you go and then have the lights on a timer when you are away.

I would leave my fish for as long as 14 days without feeding.

Hope you have a nice vacation. :)

A note on weekend feeders (the white ones in the shape of a shell or turtle) are mostly made of Plaster of Paris! and the food in them is low quality and mostly available to bottom feeders!! Fish will be fine for a week or so with out feeding
Have fun on the trip

Don't feed them any more then usual before you leave, that way you can be sure you are leaving behind a clean tank. Trust me, these fish can go much longer then 4 days without food.

have fun
