Shoaling Tips

In a relativly new setup i have 14 neons, when i first got them they were pretty good at shoaling but now they seam a lot more scattered, is this normal? is there any way to get them shoaling again?

There in with 2 mollies, 4 swordtails and 4 zebra dinos.

If the tanks big enough, then try adding more Neons...

Yes it's perfectly normal. It means they've settled in and aren't feeling scared

The only way to get them shoaling would be to frighten them - which wouldn't be nice

The fact they have spread-out means they are feeling more confident in your tank. 14 Neons is a good shoal number to have though!

Toss in a bigger fish that moves quickly and they will shoal again.
