Shipping is killing me 240 dollars worth so far.

I will be placing an order with Arizona Gardens (azgardens.com) - I also love Live Aquaria
Shipping of fish if you want their guarantee is $40-$60. If you want a Styrofoam container (of course you do!!) another $10, then a whole $1 for a hot or cold pack. Live Aquaria is a little cheaper but nobody has the selection that AZ gardens has - amazing number of fish species. Of course BOTH are out of stock on the chocolate gourami I want (I have one named "Mr Coffee") that comes to his name and I'd like another - probably named Starbucks or Folgers or something. Live Aquaria I believe is owned by DrsFosterandSmith. AZgardens is family owned.

To me it's been worth it to get the selection. But AZ has twice messed up an order, never had that problem with LiveAquaria is always right. Both are short staffed right now. There fish are all very healthy, nice specimens - no rip-off local store owner like I have in my home town. He also gets his kicks watching children cry when he feeds his piranhas. (I walk out and leave)

I have heard bad reviews about a gardens. Let me know how it goes

Arizona Aquatic Gardens has some frighteningly horrible customer complaints from the B.B.B.
They currently have an “F” rating, here’s a look.

I’ve heard so many horror stories from AAG over 20+ years that I would avoid them like the plague.
