Shipping a fish by mail

HI,
You should concider paying for the more expensive animal shipping. It is alot safer for your fish. If you just pay for normal delivery, it can cause stress and damage to your fish. I've heard of cases where fish explade because of high altitude.

If you're asking how to ship, try using a large enough plastic bag filled with a lot of oxygen. secure it properly in a styrofoam cooler or any othe heat insulated box.

Double back individual fish, then put in a sealed styrofoam container with heat pack in the winter. Take to the post office marked as live fish and mail registered.

Worked for me.
