I do have a question for ya though about one of the fish in your pictures. What kind of fish is the one you said likes the crickets and is reflective? He's beautiful!

It's an African Butterflyfish, Hence ABF

An African Butterflyfish huh? He's gorgeous...I absolutely love him. I guess I have some research to do.

It gets 4 inches long, will kill surface dwellers under 2 inches (eat them too), they can jump far so a tight fitting lid is required, and they are picky so feed them floating foods that aren't sticks or flakes. Scientific name:Pantodon buchholzi
Comes from africa:Niger, cameroon, Zaire. That's a start

lol! Hey thanks! I was just looking them up on Google, but who needs a search engine when they have you around?

They are very interesting fish. Unfortunately, I'm planning on getting some smaller fish for my tank and I don't really want them eaten. Not to mention I want to get some marbled hatchetfish, and don't want them competing for territory. So, I'll have to wait till I get my 55 gallon going. I'm definitely gong to keep them in mind though.

One more thing...are they better as solitary fish or should you get them in pairs?

That I don't know but you can keep them in a separate 10 gallon alone. I think you can keep more than one but I'm not sure
