Shell Dwellers

It occurs to me, Lance, that you did not know that the dwarf petros are a Lake Tanganika catfish species. Sorry. :)

now lets see if i can get this post to make sence,
fist i hope is a photo of the tank, yes i know it is not the best around, and need a bloody good clean, and no comments on the photography please! heheh

and now the fish, there are 4 in the tank, 2 of witch seamed to have pared up and they share a shell,

the sizes of the fish are between 1.5 inch for the smallest in the tank, also happens to be the darkest in colour with the most amazing blue around the gills, to just over 2 inches for the lighter coloured one,

now i have no idea on sexes as i would asume that the darker ones are male, however i requested 1 male and 3 female, but looks like i got 3 male and a female, but all happey enough at the moment,

Lance76: Really nice tank and fish! Nothing wrong with your photographic talents as fas as I can see. :good:

jollysue: I responded you your question here

Thanks, Griz

Lance that is a nice tank, and I like the fish. They remind me of my badis badis.

As you may have noticed, Griz recommended ocellatus. I have yet to look them up.

I look forward to pics of your 100. What is going in it?

nothing fancy at all, it is going to be a semi planted comunity tank,
corries neons blood fin a couple of angels a few zebra loaches shrimp stuff like that, somthing low mantinance and easy to care for.

I have a 100 usg community. I love it. It is the most interesting to watch. There is always lots of activity. An ADF shoots for the surface there; the apistos face off here; the Botia dario (queens)and straita are doing the loach dance in the corner and the pepper cories are doining the sexy cory dance all over the tank glass; while the tetra schools are filling in the gaps.

I recently set up a Moba front tank, but it is boring compared to a good tropical community.
