Amano shrimp are great at cleaning up, but if you feed them too much you will find they won't clean they will just wait for you to feed them

Perhaps a nerite snail would help? or some call them Zebra snails

I know that shrimp shed very often when they're young and it slows down as they grow. Sorry I can' help you with your other questions.

Well we just feed our fish and they always come and steal some, really cheekily

Hmm, with feeding betta pellets, there's nothing to clean up-I'm lucky he doesn't have my finger!
