was the tank fully cycled? what about the nitrates and nitrites? were there any marks on the bodies?

maggie
 yea at that time my tank was cycled they wasnt a mark on them I am not for sure what done it. Can those fish stand salt or not I think I might have found out what happened My boyfriend put a teaspoon of salt in the water because of the mollies. Everytime I go somewhere and stay gone for a little while when I come back hom one or two of my fish are floating on top of the water when I get back. I think I got a fungus in my tank one of my bala sharks has a white place on his mouth I have never had any problems like that before can you give me a clue as what to do I sure dont want to lose another fish. :/
