Ok so I know one way. There is supposed to be a dark line on the belly of male dwarfs. But I also read that they dont always display that line. So how else can you tell if your puffer is a male or a female. I do not see a line on mine and I am just curious as to whether its a male or female :) TY
 
Males have sort of whitish wrinkles behind their eyes. Their coloration is also more yellow/olive and pastel. Females have more contrast in their colors and between the bottom color and the dark dots. I hope this helps =)

Females also have rounder body. Males are higher.

wow that helped alot i thought it was only males had the wrinkles and the "crest" but i was wrong im sure you didnt only help me but tons of other peops :)

i was just wondering on that 8P i forgot if i put a post up but now im sure i have 1 male and 1 female 4 corys and like 10 ghost shrimp in a 10 gallon

should i try getting another female??
 
Thanks for the help! I'm not positive, I think I have a male. I cant get a good close look at him to see any lines behind its eyes. It looks a lot like the ones you said are males in the last picture.
