hy all, is it possible to sex these gt's from this vid, Ive had them 6 months and they are getting pretty big now and the larger of the two looks like hes getting horny but the smaller one just hides when (she ?) is getting to mutch attention from (him ?), they spend the rest of there time ok together though it just makes me wonder if its two males ?

youtube video of the fish tank with the gt's in

They do look both male to me, which is suprising as that tanks look peaceful, with two GT's, Oscar and severum Im suprised.

BTW, they are NW cichlids, you posted in African, but Im sure a mod can move it for you.

sory  the tank is very happy but think they are both male ??

No expert on GT's, but they both look to have long flowing fins and I cant make out if one if plumper than the other, so I think so, post this up in NW cichlids, there are plenty of peeps in there who will be able to tell you for sure.

if its that unlikely that two males would share a tank peacefully does that mean theres a good chance ones female ? I do feed them all 4 times a day with bloodworm and they have king prawns cucumber and sticks through the day as well so could this contribute to the peacefull tank ? there all to bloted to fight

Hi as minx say's usually the male's have long fin's where as the female's fin's are usually curved of at end's, how ever this is not alway's the case, they do both look male, have you got any photograph's of them side on
also can you see any breeding tubes at the base of the fishe's?
