Sexing Golden barbs

Hello everyone,

Today I noticed that 2 of my tiger barbs were spawning and laying eggs, unfortunately the other tank mates were eating them as fast as they were coming out. Tonight I planned on separating a male and female, and then transfer them into a 20 gallon of there own so they could spawn. The problem I am having is that I am not sure how to sex them, I thought I new how to but apparently not, because to me it looked like 2 males were spawning and laying eggs today, so I guess I was wrong.

How can I accurately tell?
