Sexing Comets (goldfish) also known as feeder fish

How do you determine the sex of comets? Also are they egg layers or livebearers? and any other info u may have about them thanks a lot!

I cannot tell the difference in my goldies until they reach maturity and the males get breeding stars. I found the site I got my info from.

BTW, they are egg-layers. They are cold blooded, not tropicals and are real waste factories They can get big, the ones in my pond are easily 6-7 inches long.

i have 3 big comets which are about 8 inches long and 4 little ones which were fry last year. they are about 2 inches long. i have no idea which ones are boys and which ones are girls, though

wait until the summer when the breeding season starts! then the boys get little one sopts on the gills an dthe girls get relaly fat an dthen lay there eggs and male squart his sperm all ove rthem
