Sexing Bettas?

I have a question about sexing bettas? Well, a few questions. First off, are they easy to sex? Second, are the females ever colorful, and do they have those fins come out when you put a mirror in front of them? Thanks!

yes females can if they want if you put a mirrow up
sexing is easy you may have it harder sexing plakats.
females can be just as colorful as males.

sorry males have long fins and dont have an egg spot, and females have short fins and have an egg spot.

oh, ok. hold on I'll take a picture of mine and you can determine if it's fins are long or short. I can't as i've never seen a female betta.

Nevremind, I have a male veiltail. He looks just like the fish in your picture. Just with long fins. do you know where my avatar went? I had it a minute ago, but it's desapeared!

Ummm, nevermind. Those fins are too.... big and long. mine have thin fins, and they are almost that long. can there be male halfmoons?

Ok. Males rigth? And on other boards, people said veiltales were cheap and crappy. Mine were expensive though, that's wierd... mine were 21.99 each.....
