Sexing Albino Dwarf Pleco

Guys,

A friend at work has got a pair of Albino Dwarf Pleco's and wants to know what sex they are..... and if they're a pair, what's the easiest way to breed them ?!?

Any help much appreciated

The one on the left is male, the one on the right is female. Males have bristles up the center of their face, not just on their lips.

eye up matey..

have you seen them? - do they look just like your bristle noses - by 'golden'?
(eg like the link)

if so then by the time they get to 2" it'll be obvious as the males will have bristles and the females wont

(are the bristles still ok?)

Russ, unfortunatley there's no sign of either of the Bristles Spent quite a bt of time and ££ this last couple of weeks on an External filter (Fluval 304 - £60) and other bits and bobs, and whilst fitting them I sorted out the tank, and could see any sign of the little guys

Doesn't look like my tank was mature enough for the little guys Really sorry mate


Fingers crossed, I've got it sorted now and will look at getting some more Plec's in the near future
