How long have you had him/her?

I miss having an Oscar. I had one for 6 months from a Juvi, named Turk. I sold him to Hackmaster here on TFF. Worst thing i've ever done lol.

Sorry, can't help with the sexing though...they are a b**ch to sex.

had him about 6 months now. he was 5 inches when i go him. and yeah know what you mean. iv got a lot of different lovely fish but personality wise the oscar is by far my favourite. such a lovely welcoming fish, always happy to see you and he dances a lot too when your about to feed him haha

I have two oscars myself, and I wish I could sex them. I would like to think that they are male and female as they are always side by side, but I have never seen any "pieces parts" that indicate to me what sex they are. They have never attempted to spawn or anything. They are about 7-8 inches right now. I am really thinking they are male and female, based on how they seem to love each other (or at least that is my hope) or I have some same-sex oriented Oscars

Lovely oscar Steve can't wait for my tiger Oscar to get around that size. He/she is only around 3-4 inches at the mo. iv had him/her for around 4 weeks and it's my fav fish iv had. So funny, either in the bottom corner of the tank trying to attack the bubbles as they come out of the air stone or sits they opening it's mouth and shaking its tail at its reflection in the tank glass
