I was wondering if i can use melafix with myaxin as my severum has now developed a severe case of popeye and the myaxin alone does not seem to be making him any better. How serious is popeye? he has also stopped eating the past two days. can anyone advise me please ?

Can you give us some background information please. Water stats for ammonia, nitrIte and nitrAte are the most important ones in this case. Tank size and how many fish of which variety please. How long has the tank been set up.

Popeye is usually a cause of something else, usually bad water quality so answering those few questions could rule that out.

I had my water tested and all is good. my tank is 245litres with severum, 2 firemouth a blue acara and flying fox.
I treated with protozin first, then myaxin. This is a 2nd course of myaxin I am treating with now and it does not seem to be working. severum hasnt eaten for 3 days now. I was wondering if icould add melafix to water too? I am so worried I am going to lose this fish. thankyou for any advice
