I've recently purchased a fish tank from someone which includes a filter, heater, air stone, and lightning, though some of the things do not contain instructions and don't have boxes, so I'm a little confused as to how they work. This is my first fish tank, so any advice would be greatly appreciated!

From what I can tell, these are the brands at were included:

*Magi700 Magic Jet filter
*Aqua One 300W heater
*Hailea Model ACO-2202 air stone
*Not sure about the lighting, all I can see on it is its a model AC15, type C2, and is 240V.
*The tank itself, which is 74 litres (Dimensions are 61x31x39

The heater seems easy enough to operate, though I'm at a loss with the filter.
As for the air stone, will I be okay leading the tube directly into the tank, and not using an ornament which you connect to the air stone?

In addition to this, I was planning on using the Tetra Safestart and wondered if anyone has any experience with this?

Sorry for so many questions, and thank you for any help!

Looks to be a fairly standard internal filter. Stick it to the glass of your tank so that the water flows out of the arm close or at the surface. Every couple of weeks or so, unplug it, take the top off and rinse out the foam which will be inside in tank water. You won't need the airstone. I would check out the section on cycling a tank on this website as it is very comprehensive.. Good luck and welcome to the hobby.
