What is the best way to set up a hospital tank?
I would rather not have a empty tank sitting around waiting for someone to get sick.
Is there a safe way of setting on up as needed?
Could I take some gravel and water from the main tank and put it in the hospital tank?

Thanks in advance!!!!

Debending on the size of your fish, you don't necessarily need a hospital tank. You can but a plastic container that hangs in the inside of your tank that fish can be treated in. Plastic breeder boxes are good for treating wounded fish too. As a matter of fact, I have a a Cory cat recovering from a head wound in one for a few days. What is nice about doing it this way is that the fish does not have to be moved into a new environment and can stay in the same water. Plus it is a heck of a lot cheaper than setting up a hospital tank. :D
